Maxwind
The MaxWind is a litter vacuum and street sweeper in one. This fully electric machine has a waste container with a capacity of 90 litres, in which the special HEPA filter captures PM10 fine dust and quartz dust. Compact as it is, it is easy to operate from behind the machine while walking, standing or seated.
SmartWind
The SmartWind is also a litter vacuum and street sweeper in one. With a 220-litre waste container, including a HEPA filter for PM10 fine dust and quartz dust, this fully electric machine is a size up from the Maxwind. The machine seats one person and is steered with a joystick. The SmartWind has been in production since early 2019. The machine also has a net working time of 4 to 6 hours, more than enough for squares, parks and business parks, for example.
Electra 1.0
With the Electra 1.0, Tenax goes one step further. It is a sweeper up to 1 m³ without hydraulics. As a result, there is no energy loss through hydraulics and the machine has low energy consumption and the battery lasts longer. The battery is also recharged when braking. With the Electra 1.0 and 2.0, Tenax makes fully electric sweepers.
With a fine dust filter, the Electra 1.0 captures the harmful PM10 fine dust. In addition, the Electra 1.0 and 2.0 run on a 48-volt electrical system. Thanks to this system, there are no special requirements for the workshop and no special staff training is needed. Add the CAN-BUS system, which makes the machine easy to read out, and you have a user-friendly sweeper. Finally, the machine has a 100-litre clean water tank. On average, it has a net working time of 6 to 8 hours, including use of the air conditioning and/or heating.
Electra 2.0
As a 2 m³ electric sweeper, the Electra 2.0 is the big brother of the Electra 1.0 not only in size but also in specifications. Like the 1.0, the 2.0 is fully electric. In addition, the brakes regenerate energy, the machine has a 48-volt electrical system and it uses the same CAN-BUS system as the Electra 1.0. The machine is 92% recyclable. Besides the larger waste container, the cab of the 2.0 seats two people, it has a clean water tank of no less than 400 litres and you can easily switch between two-wheel steering in driving mode and four-wheel steering in working mode.
Why choose 100% electric?
A fully electric machine has no fuel costs and requires less maintenance. Whereas conventional front brushes are driven hydraulically, losing 30% of the energy, our machines have electric front brushes. By replacing the hydraulic component with the innovative electric solution, the machines are more energy-efficient.
Steep gradients
Thanks to the electric drive, the machine can climb a 35% gradient without any problems, even while working.
Cost-saving
A significant fuel saving will be achieved compared with traditional diesel sweepers. On average, the break-even point in terms of Total Cost of Ownership (electric versus diesel) is reached after 3 years.
CO2 reduction
The electric street sweeper emits no CO2.
Low noise level
Thanks to the low noise level, the street sweeper can be used in the early morning or late evening.
48V is safe
Tenax street sweepers run on a 48V electrical system. As a result, no special training requirements apply to your mechanics.
