Electric road sweeper
The Electra 2.0 evos is the big brother of the Electra 1.0, in size and in specifications. As a 2 m³ electric road sweeper it is fully electric and the most energy-efficient machine of its kind. The brakes regenerate energy, the machine runs on a 48-volt electrical system and it uses the same CAN-BUS system as the Electra 1.0. Worth noting as well: the 2.0 is 92% recyclable, which keeps its impact on the environment to a minimum. Besides the larger hopper, the cab of the Tenax Electra 2.0 evos seats two people, the solution tank holds a full 400 litres, and you switch easily between two-wheel steering in drive mode and four-wheel steering in work mode. The machine was introduced in 2018.
Run time is 8 to 10 hours, including use of the air conditioning and/or the heating. That figure comes out of various tests, among them one in Rotterdam.

The lowest voltage in the world
The Tenax Electra 2.0 evos is the only sweeper in the world with a 48-volt electrical system, the lowest voltage there is. Because of that system there are no special requirements for the workshop and no special staff training is needed. Add the CAN-BUS system, which makes the machine easy to read out, and you have a road sweeper that is genuinely straightforward to work with.
