Why dirt at the nursery costs more than you think
At a nursery, dirt comes back every day, on the growing area and in the greenhouse. If you leave it, or tackle it with the wrong machine, you pay the bill later.
Soil, leaves and pruning waste pile up
Compacted soil, leaves and pruning waste build up every day between the growing rows and in the aisles. Skip a day and you see it straight away.
Sweeping by hand takes hours
Sweeping the growing area with a broom takes hours. Time your people would be better off spending on the crops.
The wrong machine damages the fabric
Narrow or hard tyres press ruts into the ground cover and can damage it. Then you have to replace the fabric sooner than necessary.
Exhaust fumes in the greenhouse
In the greenhouse your people work among the crops. A fuel-powered machine leaves exhaust fumes behind there. The VR950WD+ runs on electricity.
Made specially for ground cover
Extra-wide double foam tyres (front and rear) spread the pressure and prevent rutting or damage. Foam tyres cannot puncture and never need pumping up: all the more reliable and efficient on vulnerable surfaces.
Easy, comfortable working
Sweep comfortably for hours thanks to an ergonomic driver's seat, ample legroom and good all-round visibility. Wide side brushes take the edges cleanly; bumper bars and side rollers prevent damage to products and to the machine.
Running time of approx. 8 hours with lithium
As standard you work for around 4 hours per charge with the 24V lead-acid pack. If you choose the lithium pack, you can top up the charge in between and discharge it deeply. Because the battery is compact, two of them even fit in the machine, doubling the running time to about 8 hours. Ask about the options.
Excellent dust control
The powerful suction system and high-quality filter pack keep dust and dirt inside the machine, not on your plants or products. You work hygienically and tidily, without dust blowing up.
One machine for growing area, greenhouse and yard
As well as sweeping ground cover, the VR950WD+ is also very well suited to the concrete floor in the greenhouse and to the yard or grounds around the greenhouse. Read more about the advantages of this sweeper below.
Ground cover between the growing rows
The double foam tyres prevent rutting. With its compact build and tight turning circle, you can easily work in the narrow paths between the growing rows.
Concrete floor and aisles
On the concrete floor in the greenhouse it sweeps just as powerfully. Leaves, sand and twigs go into the 62-litre hopper, so you don't have to empty it in between.
Yard, warehouse and car park
On concrete, block paving or asphalt: you keep the yard, the warehouse floor and the car park clean with the same machine.
