The Nilfisk SC400 is a compact scrubber-dryer that holds up in busy buildings where hygiene and speed both matter. This walk-behind machine has a working width of 43 cm and a drying width of 72 cm, which adds up to a theoretical capacity of 1,390 m² per hour. With its smart layout and quiet running (only 70 dB), the SC400 suits care homes, retail, schools and offices.
Comfort and control for every operator
The SC400 was designed around ease of use. The brush drive pulls the machine smoothly across the floor, so you do not need much physical effort to steer it. The controls are straightforward and the panel is easy to read, which helps when less experienced staff take over. Brush pressure is adjustable up to 28 kg, so heavily soiled surfaces get a thorough clean as well.
The 23-litre solution and recovery tanks let you keep working for long stretches without stopping. Brush and squeegee come off and clean up easily, so daily maintenance takes minutes and no tools.
Sensible use of water and energy
A top speed of 3.2 km/h and the Stop&Go system keep water and energy consumption to a minimum. The compact frame (123 x 57 x 72 cm) means you can manoeuvre the SC400 through tight spaces and narrow aisles. Thanks to the low noise level, it can also be used in noise-sensitive areas during opening hours.
